Intrigue is going back to its roots this Autumn, with the launch of a new midweek night at its original location. It was on cold winter’s night back in January 2003 when Ben Payne and Joe Wills first began Intrigue at a tiny club, then called Bar Latino. Fast forward to today and the club has been given a total reboot with a refit, new sound system and brand new name, Asylum.
We are pleased to announce that the original “liquid funk master” Fabio will begin proceedings of what will be a new regular Thursday event for Bristol! We also welcome De La Haye alongside resident Ben Soundscape. All 90 minute sets.
The event will be as much about local talent as the headliner, so for each night we will be hosting a DJ competition with the winner selected to play the opening set.
